I have a problem with our 1959 Skyliner's turn signal switch. The contacts inside are broken and I would need a replacement.
The B8A-13341-A switch seems to be available as reproduction by Dennis Carpenter and also a wire set for 1959 but the full switch B9A-13341-A is not available. I wonder why?
The 1957 thru 1959 seem to share the same steering wheel and column and the space for the turn signal mechanism seems to be equal. But the actual switch setup seems to be different and 1958 switch does not work.
Why did Ford use a different switch setup for 1959 and I guess the same one was used also in 1960 and 1961?
Is there some common and easy way (I wish :D) to replace the turn signal setup in 1959s so they don't do switches for this year?
Here's the switch I need:
