Deck lid

Hello all, my 58 retractable deck lid unlocks,but will not lift any ideas?

Look for a plunger type switch located along the passenger side of the deck lid. IIRC, when the deck lid comes up during the unlock, that switch has to activate (like a refrigerator door opening turns on the light) in order to relay current to the next circuit to raise the lid.

I could be completely mistaken about that sequence, and how it works, but I think checking the adjustment of that switch might be worth a shot.
