Location of battery ground cable on engine?

My 59 had the battery negative connected to a valve cover bolt. I believe this is not the correct spot. Unfortunately parts and workshop book are not specific as to where the end of the cable gets mounted on the engine originally. Engine is the 352. I’ve seen newer fe 352s with either a spot in the block near the generator, or use the generator mount bolt. Anyone able to comment on where it should be?

My '59 has the 332 motor. I think it's the same block as your 352 but not sure about that.
The negative cable is bolted to the intake manifold. Forward part of the manifold right next to the oil breather/filler cap. Hope this helps.
