Top sits off to the right when retracted in truck

I have a 1957 retractable that I just purchased. Everything thing on the top seems to work great except for when you retract the top. It sits in the truck off to the right and when the truck lid is closed it hits the roof on the right side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it sounds like you have a lift arm that is bent.
