heater core leaking

looks like i may have to repair or replace my heater core before i start taking things apart i don't need to can i remove the blower motor and then take the heater core out under the hood. or take it apart under the dash and the heater core come out that way. thanks kc syring

Heater core comes out under the dash. Take out the heater box. I think Four screws hold it to the firewall. Also unbolt the motor in the engine compartment and unhook the wires so it all comes out free.
