Deck Lid problems

Hi,
I am having a problem with the operation of my deck lid. The issue doesn't always happen and there is no telling when it will occurr. When opening my deck lid to put the roof up or down my lid doesn't go up all the way. As of now it seems to stall out 95-90% up and needs that tiny little push at the end. Is this the deck lid motor? I tested it and the motor seems fine. I also swapped in another one and it stops at the exact same spot. Other than that the top works fine. Thanks in advance.

Also - who can I send a deck lid motor to for rebuilding?

I'd check the setting of the deck lid limit switch 1st. My bet that it's slightly "out" of adjustment , or loose .

Hi sounds like the sane problem I had. I pulled the drive cable on both flex cables and greased then with axle bearing grease. I also pulled the dust covers up and greased the shaft. Wayne Calif.
