Gregg, Was a long time member of the IFRC. He will be missed.
Gregory Allen Humble
Gregory Allen Humble, age 54, of Marysville died Thursday, December 6, 2012, at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus with his wife and children at his side following a 9 month journey with cancer.
He was currently employed with Honda Marysville in their Paint & Body Repair Department and was a longtime owner of Humble Auto Restoration. An “old soul”, Gregg was well-known for his talent in restoring cars and shared this passion with his father and brothers. Together with their Dad, Gregg and his brothers also had worked together for many years in the family business, Humble & Sons Drywall.
Gregg was a 1977 graduate of Marysville High School and was a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where he served as head usher. His relationship with Jesus was strong and constant, and his family is comforted in knowing that Gregg is safely home in Heaven. He was a member of the NHRA, the Crown Victoria Car Club, and the Performance Ford Club and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. More than anything, Gregg will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, an adored father, a proud “PaPa”, and a cherished son and brother.
He was born November 22, 1958, in Delaware to Roger and Carol Devore Humble. His father preceded him in death in March, 2004, and his mother survives in Marysville. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Mitchell Waszczuk.
Along with his Mother, survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Beth” Waszczuk Humble, to whom he was married on June 7, 1991, in Miami, Florida; his children, Sarah Humble, Morgantown, WV; Nicholas (Brandi) Humble, Denver, CO; Emily (Ryan) Dishnow, Ft. Myers, FL; and Kalyn, Allison, and Tyler Humble, each of the home; 2 grandsons, Evan Humble and Jay Dishnow; his siblings, Mark (Linda) Humble, Irwin; Lori Humble, Marysville; and Chris (Patti) Humble, Summerville, SC; his mother-in-law, Tessie Waszczuk, Derry, NH; 2 brothers-in-law, Christopher (Ann Marie) Waszczuk, North Andover, MA; and John (Andrea) Waszczuk, Chester, NH; 2 aunts, Cheri (Walter) Adkins, Marysville; and Jeanie Humble, Ft. Myers, FL; 2 uncles, Bill (Sharon) Humble, Simpsonville, SC; and Tom (Martha) Devore, West Jefferson; many nieces, nephews and extended family members; countless friends and his church family.
