hub caps

I have read a couple of post about the Radial tires popping off the hubcaps.. is this true for only the full wheel covers or does it apply to the partial hubcaps as well? Also I just purchased a 1957 skyliner that was originally black and has been repainted to Colonial white/ Mandarin orange....every color chart I've found does not list Mandarin orange as a color available in 1957... it was available on the 56 ford . I was told the color was Coral sands but is not correct. does any know if this Mandarin was used in 1957 for the skyliner??

Code Z - Coral Sand was the orange offered in 57.

thats what i thought but the padded dash and steering wheel are the same color did they come from a different year car or can the color be custom made?

not near the car now but I think it is BE but if that doesn't sound right I'll double check when I get home

the interior code is BE. I have seen other 57 that look like they are painted the same color orange and the color matches the 56 Mandrain orange much more then anything in 1957. but why go to the expense of changing the interior if it is not the right color

Code BE is black airweave vinyl.

The car would have left the factory with the metal interior parts painted black.
