Generator light

When turning on the ignition my oil light comes on but not the generator light. I checked the bulb and it is OK. The generator is also working OK. What do I check next?

Hi wayne,
check the voltage regulator for output. Check the wiring from the regulator to the bulb (thin yellow wire w/black stripe). Check the bulb socket for ground to the dash cluster. I hope this helps.
