59 Skyliner

Evening everyone, just bought a 59 Skyliner, running but not roadworthy, has a 352 with 4 bbl carb, not sure of the trans, fluid smelled good and was not dark and it will take forward and reverse. Has quite a bit of rust in the rockers and door bottoms, but PS/PB, power windows......got around $5800 in it trade value but actually closer to$4500 cash money......Did I do OK? Never owned a retractable, but always wanted a 57......stumbled across this one and had to have it.

Maybe, how bad are the inner rockers, floor? Is the bottom of the back window tight in the seal/frame, or is there a gap at the window bottom? Have you opened the decklid yet? How are the bottom of the quarter panels and trunk floor? Are there any issues with opening the decklid and/or retracting the roof? Hope this helps.
