I live in New Zealand and am finding it difficult to purchase a proper bumper jack for my 1957 Skyliner which I have just imported in. Is it possible to jack the car up with a long bottle hydraulic jack mounted on the frame. Would this give enough clearance to get the wheel out of the wheel well or is it necessary to jack off the bumper. Or would anyone have a pic they could send me of the proper bumper jack. Thanks Mike.
