Generator light 1957 Retractable

I have lost power to my generator light. Oil light comes on just fine. I would appreciate any advice as to how to find the problem. Thanks

If your bulb is good you need to check the thin yellow wire with black stripe that goes from the armature terminal of the voltage regulator to the dash gen light.
