Power Steering ?

My '58 has normal power assist on right turns but no assist on left turns. Any thoughts?

I don't think that it something you can fix with the control valve in place, , you will have to remove the control valve.
Check this guy out ( Roger Rode)he is reasonable and fast with his repairs.

back the nut off just a Tad farther under the Cap . then see if a paper gasket At this cover cap will center your spool Correctly . make it from a grocery sack .
