These were stored with the brackets that hold the headliner rods at the rear roof,
not that that means anything. Anyway I can't figure out or remember where they go
because it's been awhile since I took it apart. A long while. 14 inches long and I already
painted them so it doesn't show that there is a strip of vinyl stapled to one edge
but I don't think it shows when finished.

looks like a pinch rail for windlace but where? Maybe not.

A good example of "Tag Everything" because you will forget !

The top ones go on the roof at the sail panel, the bottom ones are what holds the front of the kick panel in place.

Got it ! Once you confirmed they fit there I realized I kept trying to fit them with the screwed on bracket pointing down ,it just looked right to me !

BTW How do you deal with staples into sheet metal, like mounting the tack strip ? Don't have an industrial stapler.

I use either pop rivets or small self taping sheet metal screws depending on which will work the best, on panels where the staples show & you want them to look original I just drill the staple holes a little bigger & use real staples bending them over with a needle nose vice grip pliers.
