1959 "Surf Blue" color code?
Where I could find the modern day color codes for the 1959 "Surf Blue" and "Colonial White"?
Planning to re-paint at the partly sun-burn exterior this spring but haven't yet found where to get the exactly right color.
And should the Surf Blue be a metallic paint?

Try this place, they have paint codes, color charts & can mix just about any kind of paint.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately they don't give out the codes without purchasing the colors from them - which makes totally sense as it's their business. I'm just after the mixing codes for the colors and would buy the colors locally here in Finland as it wouldn't make sense to order colors overseas.
The Colonial White code is easy to find with Google, but so far I haven't managed to find Surf Blue Poly.

I think I found the answer:
SURF BLUE, early production run
* Ford code: M1011
* Ditzler PPG: 11979
* Dupont: 2984, 202-83406. 181-15666
* Acme Rogers: 8708
SURF BLUE, spring color
* Ford code: M1284
* Ditzler PPG: 12172
* Dupont: 4016, 202-83786, 181-83786
* Acme Rogers: 8836
COLONIAL WHITE
* Ford code: M0524
* Ditzler PPG: 8103
* Dupont: 2214, 246-59543, 93-59543
* Acme Rogers: 8342
But what's the deal with two different Surf Blue colors? Were they both offered for Skyliners?
